There’s a new train leaving the station with the potential to bring additional energy to help nonprofits meet their critical missions. Call it “skills based” volunteering or pro bono, its power comes from utilizing volunteers for their specific professional knowledge and training to augment management capacity or achieve operational goals. This workshop session will explore what’s firing the trend toward more pro bono volunteering, and how nonprofits can better organize to take advantage of this growing resource.
