Andrew Espiritu

I am a RPCV who served in Jordan. I specialize in TEFL teaching and my service focused on teacher training, improving school resources, and developing projects in my community.

My passion for social change and education have enabled me to meet the challenges and goals of my community. Furthermore, my ability to motivate and foster a spirit of teamwork have brought noticeable change with the teachers, students, and community members I have been fortunate to work and live among.

I have worked in the following professional positions:

Kawader Professional Development Center Instructor
October 2011 – December 2012
Located in Ma'an, Jordan, the Kawader Center offers supplementary courses for university coursework, but also offers it classes to working professionals, community members, and students of all ages.

In collaboration with Al-Hussein bin Talal University, I designed and taught English courses. Directly taught 115 university students, 41 working professionals, and 24 community members.
